Replacing Blade-Changing Blade Position

| QuickScore™ now has 2 blade positions to accommodate use on the Mark I and IV Series brakes as well as the new TrimMaster® Series. QuickScore™ comes from the factory with the blade preset to the outside, or Mark I & IV position. Replacing blade. To change the blade position for use with a new TrimMaster® brake, please follow the steps below. If simply changing the blade, follow steps 1 thru 4 then reverse steps to complete the change. Note: If blade is behind spacer (as in step 7), it is set for TrimMaster® use. If in front, blade is set for Mark I & Mark IV use. Caution: This tool uses extremely sharp utility blades and requires caution and care during all phases of use, including changing the blade as described below. Failure to adhere can lead to injury and damage to objects. |

| Steady tool on flat surface. Extend knife block and remove slotted screw. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Extend knife cover down to expose internal blade components. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Carefully remove knife shim and set aside. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Next, remove spacer from knife block as shown and set aside. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Remove blade, keeping fingers away from sharp edges. | Reinstall blade into knife block using the first alignment notch on blade. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Insert the spacer as shown. Note: Arrow indicates blade storage area. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Reinstall knife shim over spacer. | Slide knife cover back into place. In-sert screw snugly into place. Be care-ful not to cross-thread or strip screw. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
